At Kaunas University the contributers to a volume on "Physical Violence in Late Socialism" will meet to discuss their individual contributions. The international volume will present original research on violence after Stalin in the USSR and in the countries of Eastern Europe. Studies will range from war and police violence to hooliganism and child abuse.
